No matter who you are, this time of year there is a universal and collective sigh of relief on the last day of school. Whether teacher, student, or parent, the mental effort of pushing through to the end of the year is comparable to the physical exhaustion of crawling across the finish line after an ultra marathon. No matter how hard you trained those last few miles feel like torture! But the good news is, you made it! Rejoice!

We conclude our last week of out 10-week Mat Pilates Spring Training series on June 12th. Thank you for your excellent participation and attendance. Thank you also for your referrals. We had a number of new students for the spring session. We practiced with a variety of props including the wall, foam rollers, core balls and therabands. We will conclude our series with a traditional mat class, focused on the basic principles of breath, core, concentration, control, fluidity, and precision.

Beginning the week of June 16th, the SUMMER SESSION will be open to all regular attendees at a drop-in rate of $12. Unlike previous sessions, these classes will not require any advanced registration. Current class schedule is Mondays at 5:15pm, Tuesdays at 8:30a.m. and Wednesdays at 5:15pm. Although you are welcome to notify me of your plan to attend, it is not required. Summertime typically has lower attendance as people vacation and travel, thus I expect there will be plenty of space for you to participate. One caveat, if you are brand new to Home Training and plan to attend class, please let me know for necessary waiver and participation forms. Personal Training on the Pilates equipment continues by appointment. It has been WONDERFUL celebrating the return of my Pilates snowbird friends.
