Dear Pilates Friends,
As temperatures are forecasted to reach near 90 degrees next week, we are excited to conclude our 10-Week Spring Training session and welcome the Pilates SUMMER OPEN Season! Thank you for your outstanding participation this spring. We consistently had around 25 participants across our three class days.
Starting Monday, June 17th, we will begin offering "Drop-In" classes. Unlike our usual 10-week session registration and advance payment, this summer you can simply show up for mat class, pay $12, and participate without prior notice. Class times remain the same: Mondays at 5:15 PM, Tuesdays at 8:30 AM, and Wednesdays at 5:15 PM.
Please note that there will be no classes from July 7th through July 16th. Classes will resume on Wednesday, July 17th. If any particular day consistently exceeds 10 participants, I will implement a sign-up process. Based on past summers, classes tend to be lighter as people take vacations and enjoy outdoor activities. Additionally, if a class routinely has only 1-3 participants, it may be removed from the schedule.
These are MIXED-LEVEL classes and are recommended for those with some familiarity and experience with Pilates mat work. I am happy to create a beginner mat class at a different day/time if there is interest. Please let me know if this would be of interest to you. Alternatively, you can join me for 1:1 personal training to practice the matwork and feel comfortable joining a mixed-level class this summer.
Personal training continues by appointment. The Pilates equipment provides essential resistance to stimulate muscle growth and supports our bodies differently than mat exercises. This is particularly valuable for those with a history of pain or injury, as it offers a restorative entry point to exercise. Pilates is also ideal for very active individuals who experience overuse in their day-to-day activities, whether running, weight-lifting, or the professional desk-jockey. Please reach out if you wish to schedule an appointment.
If possible, please double-check Facebook or Instagram for any updates before attending class. I will also send out an email if a class is canceled.
Thank you again for your enthusiasm and support of Home Training. I look forward to seeing you all in the days ahead.
