Dear Pilates Friends,
Thank you for a great Summer Mat Session! This week concludes the series and we begin Fall Mat Classes the week of August 13th-October 19th. Currently classes are scheduled for Mondays at 5:15pm and Tuesdays at 8:30a.m. 10 weeks/$100 and as always, take a look at your calendar and prorate the payment accordingly. We will have class on Labor Day Monday so if you know you are out of town then you would adjust the payment, $90/9weeks. I am willing to add extra days if needed according to interest. These are mixed-level beginner/intermediate classes. I always encourage those new to Pilates to schedule a few personal training sessions with me to ensure you are strengthening without straining and getting the most from your mat-based practice. The principles of breath, concentration, precision, fluidity, center, and control are of utmost importance in every exercise.
If you wish to create a small group mat class, at a time and date convenient for you and your friends, just let me know. You can decide the length, days, times and style of the session. Perhaps 6 weeks with a focus on foam roller and wall exercises. Small group classes are $50 up to 5 and $10 for each additional person.
Thank you to my faithful Pilates personal training clients. The equipment teaches and supports our body in ways that are not available with mat work. The springs help us experience internal lift and suspension versus compression. I always enjoy our training time together and appreciate that you feel the benefits Joe Pilates intended when he designed his interesting Pilates' apparatus. It really is playground equipment that lets you push, pull, hang, squat, rotate, flex and extend in a mindful manner. We want to maintain natural movement and strength across the lifespan.

I will NOT be offering mat classes after the Fall session due to the holidays and family travel, however I will continue personal training through December.
