Thank you for a great summer session of Pilates. Whether mat class or personal training, I have looked forward to new and familiar faces each week. I hope you continue to reap the benefits of a consistent Pilates practice.
We will begin a new 10-week Pilates session on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8:30a.m. This will be a mixed-level class. Fundamentals of Pilates will begin Wednesday, September 4th at 4:30p.m. This class is ideal for those new to the method, prefer a slower pace, have a history of osteoporosis or simply work during the day and need an early evening option. It would also be a beneficial class for men. Feel free and attend together with your significant other! Prices remain the same for mat class, register in advance for $10/class or drop-in for $12. Remember, you can also pay in advance for a specific number of classes, for instance if you plan to attend 6/10 then rather than paying the drop-in rate, you would pay $60 at the beginning of the session. If you and a group of friends desire to form your own mat class I do offer On-Demand scheduling. This is a fun, sociable option. Please contact me if you have questions and/or wish to sign-up for mat class.
With the arrival of the school year, a number of clients have expressed interest in personal training. Please consider your schedule and reach out to confirm a weekly personal training appointment on the Pilates equipment. My goal is to provide you with times most convenient for your life and mornings tend to fill-up quickly at Home Training. My registration is pending for a 200 hour yoga certification program. If all goes as planned I will be committed to the program most Wednesdays, 8a.m.-3p.m. September through June. I may add a Pilates/Yoga fusion class to our mat offerings but will wait to first confirm personal training clients before adding additional group classes. I will be teaching again this fall at Pleasant Valley Tennis and Fitness on Thursdays at 9:30a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
