Dear Friends,
Thank you for your faithful practice of the Pilates method. It is a pleasure for me to share both the matwork and equipment training with you from the comfort of Home Training. Thank you also for your recent referrals. Pilates remains true to its premise of strengthening without straining while exploring movements through all planes. Pilates principles include breath, concentration, control, centering, precision, and flow/fluidity. These principles can be applied to all our functional activities. Taking time for a mind-body practice diminishes stress and enhances our sense of well-being.
Those who regularly attend my classes know I often sing the praises of individuals who improve my own skills, teaching, and life! Many avid exercisers are recognizing the benefits derived from "quieter" forms of movement. I often refer clients to these practitioners so I am listing them here for your ease of reference. Physical Therapist, Stacy Scherzer, a certified Restorative Exercise Specialist and Yoga Instructor Julianne Hutchcraft, BSN, R.N. and Wellness Coach. I hope you will take time to attend their workshops and classes to learn more about creating a "balanced body."
Stacy's website is: http://movewise.info/ or "Like" Move Wise on facebook. Julianne can be reached on facebook at Yoga Coach, RN or email her at[email protected]. In addition, I am so impressed with the work of Krysti Turznik, Life Coach of Powerful Mind Wellness. If you are struggling with goal-setting, self-limiting beliefs, stress management, addictive behaviors with food, alcohol, smoking you may find her professional strategies enable you to move beyond these personal obstacles. Learn more about Krysti and her personal and corporate services at http://www.powerful-mind.com/
These professionals have monthly newsletters and are right here in our local community. Contact them for more information. I feel blessed with their support and knowledge and you will too.

Please consider making a contribution to support this couple and the investment they make in our youth. http://www.raivu.org/
The week of November 17th is a "Free Week" of mat classes for my regular participants as a thank-you for your support and faithful participation. We will have 3 weeks of December classes, $25 for the 3 weeks or $10 drop-in. Please let me know or register here at Home Training for these Christmas-time classes!
