βIn celebration of the New Year, fresh beginnings, and new aspirations, I'm excited to announce that starting January 2024, I'll be conducting Pilates classes via Zoom. Join me against the picturesque backdrop of the Gulf of Mexico! Personally, this venture represents a significant leap for me as it requires an expansion of my technological skills. But hey, growth knows no age bounds, and embracing challenges is part of the journey. When the pandemic struck, I was in the midst of my Yoga Teacher Training, and like many others, I pivoted to teaching and sharing content through Zoom and YouTube.
Having experienced workshops and instructions via Zoom, including sessions with renowned trainers like Shari Berkowitz and Lynda Lippens, I found it to be an incredible and effective modality. In some ways, the intensity felt almost comparable to in-person training β they were practically staring at me! So, I know that not only is it doable, but it's also a useful and convenient way to connect. With Wisconsin temperatures approaching freezing and the inevitable snow and ice-storms in January, why brave the cold when you can comfortably do Pilates next to your fireplace, heating up your core?
In my quest to embrace technology, I serendipitously became an Amazon Affiliate. By randomly pasting Pilates props codes, they miraculously appeared on my blog. From my understanding, maintaining this affiliate status requires selling three items from the list within 180 days. If not, no worries; Pilates classes will continue, albeit without the affiliate status. Disclaimer: I may earn from these product recommendations. My primary goal was to create an Amazon Idea List to share small props we'll use during our Zoom classes. Once completed, I'll share the link with you.
For current participants at Home Training interested in January Zoom Classes but hesitant to purchase small props, worry not. I'm happy to loan you the items for home use. Think of it as a Home Training Library where you can check out Pilates props instead of books. These loaner props will be available starting the week of December 17th. Feel free to explore the items below; perhaps some are on sale for Black Friday, or maybe your family members could benefit from resistance bands or foam rollers. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
The January Pilates Classes will be offered on Mondays at 6:30 pm EST/5:30 CST and Wednesdays at 9:30 am EST/8:30 CST. For eight classes, it's just $50. If you're interested in personal training for beginner and intermediate mat work via Zoom, that's also an option. Can't make it at the scheduled time? No problem β the sessions will be recorded, and you'll receive a link for personal use. Looking forward to a fantastic journey of Pilates together!
