Our last day of vacation and I am awake much too early. Time for one more TRX training before cleaning up the condo and making our exit to Milwaukee this evening. I know how the return from vacation can be rather hectic, so given these beautiful early morning hours thought I would share a few experiences from our annual pilgrimmage to my homeland. I hope to see you all this week for Pilates.
Nina has been on the island for many years. I recognized her name from attending classes at the Marco Island YMCA where she previously was the fitness director. She and her fellow trainers have developed a respected reputation on the island. I was fortunate to pass her studio during a daily walk and obtain a class calendar. Check out her website for more details. A beautiful, talented, fit trainer who knows how to keep her clients coming back for more. It had been a while since I had participated in group exercise. The comraderie, laughter, and social factors definitely improved my workout intensity. What a joy!
By the end of the week I think Nina and the TRX participants might have been tired of my perpetual enthusiasm. One woman commented: "You're always smiling...but then again you didn't work all day!" I had to agree...being on vacation is a great reason to smile... taking a challenging class a major bonus! http://www.healthybodybynina.com/Trainer-Biographies.html
Crystal Manjarres is a fantastic trainer and Pilates instructor. Her studio is warm and inviting and she caters to private personal training for women. I have enjoyed a private reformer session with Crystal our last two trips to Marco. It leaves me with a sense of strength and mindfulness. I feel like my body is more balanced in just one session. Check out her website...she has a gift beyond Pilates...she truly listens and understands.
Thank you all for reading. A special "hoot-out" to my Chi-O sisters gathering on the Auburn Plains this weekend for a reunion...."the coolest girls in the whole wide world, Chi Omega girls!" Miss you but with you always in spirit!
