The Why about the "Y"... The Confusion Begins at Conception!

Last night four couples went to Bar Louie's in Milwaukee for dinner and then to the Performing Arts Center to see a comedian/monologue entitled The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?  This was a special treat from dear friends to celebrate 40th birthdays. We all agreed we were in need of a laugh and Robert Dubac's solo theatrical show, intent on the male mind trying to solve the ancient question of, "What do women want?" gave us the abdominal workout and endorphin rush we desperately needed.  The clips do not do justice to his act, when you try to capture his humor with a brief excerpt it might even be more likely to offend. I apologize if this is the case! Regardless, if you get the chance to see his live performance you will appreciate his smooth 90 minute dialogue of five male chauvinists' (Dubac's description!), efforts to  counsel Bobby on his broken heart. The suave Frenchman clip below is a sample of one of the male intellect personality types. Bobby's dream girl has dumped him and his effort to resolve the dilemma is frustrating. His is the male dominated brain, how can it understand the female? Whether single, married or somewhere in between Bobby finds that sensitive spot within us all  that desires to understand the people we love yet recognizes we are all powerless against the influence of the  "Y" chromosome.  Likewise, the more Bobby's left dominated brain tries to understand the "XX" the more he drinks! In some cases his comedy was so on target that I did not know whether to laugh or cry.  We are so different in how we think, women more with the "feminine feeling" right brain and men with the more "masculine concrete" left brain. Is it ever possible to find a balance between the two extremes?
There is a clear relationship to me between being able to laugh and to love.  When we can't laugh it is so hard to love.  At some point, there is an excellent chance that I have laughed with you...for that reason I love you! Thank you for reading!
