Tighten Your Corset and Get Running!

After teaching 3 hours of Pilates classes tonight I returned home enthused to contemplate the relationship of the tranverse abdominal muscle to our strength, appearance and power. The muscle group serves as our internal corset.  My next blog, I promise to add insight into properly engaging this muscle since it does connect us three-dimensionally, provide strength and support for our spine, and influences the appearance of the more superficial recti muscle. However, after typing for hours (to my disgruntled and bored husband's dismay!) the words disappeared into cyber space for all eternity.  So in honor of the grammy's  I thought I would leave you with a fun running song instead...Lady Antebellum , I Run to You. " I run from pain, I run from prejudice, I run from pessimists, but I run to this"  Thanks for reading and for running!
